{"id":344,"date":"2010-02-05T01:40:43","date_gmt":"2010-02-05T06:40:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/jwjphotoblog.com\/?p=344"},"modified":"2014-03-31T18:51:48","modified_gmt":"2014-03-31T18:51:48","slug":"border-collie-rescued-today","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.jwjphotoblog.com\/?p=344","title":{"rendered":"Border Collie Rescued Today&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><em>I got back in time to see Sullivan firefighters rescue a nice yellow\/white border collie dog today, that was stranded on an island out in the Meramac River, just south of Sullivan, near the State Park. He had been out on this island\u00a0 for quite a while from the looks of him and was very hungry and anxious to get out of there, but was definitely hemmed in on all sides by high water. They attempted rescue yesterday but the air boat wouldn`t start so the crews returned today with the spare boat and made a great rescue of him. One of the area residents took him home and will take him to the adoption center in Sullivan tomorrow.
